Grades & Cuts Guide
How to read a Churras label
Every meat product carries a quality grade, an origin badge and a few cooking icons — so you can tell, at a glance, what you're buying and how to cook it.
The quality scale
Best → EverydayFive tiers, ranked. A coloured dot and one word tell you the eating quality — higher tiers mean more marbling and tenderness.
- Reserve – Wagyu
Wagyu only, MB4+ — ultra-premium marbling.
7 / 7 quality - Reserve
Top tier — Angus MB4+, gift & occasion.
6 / 7 quality - Premium
Certified Angus / grain-fed — family BBQ heroes.
5 / 7 quality - Select
Quality grass-fed — great everyday value.
4 / 7 quality - Classic
Solid everyday value — sausages, chicken, mince.
3 / 7 quality
Why a dot, not stars? Star ratings read like customer reviews. A colour + one word tells you the quality tier instantly — no confusion.
Marbling (MB score)
Those fine threads of intramuscular fat that melt as you cook — more marbling means more flavour and tenderness. When we know the score, it sits right next to the grade as MB4+. Wagyu carries the highest scores (MB7–MB9).
Origin badges
The heritage of the cut. Look for the flag over the product image — our specialty is authentic South American BBQ.
Iconic cuts from Brazil’s churrasco tradition.
Traditional asado cuts from Argentina.
Cooking methods
Each product shows up to three icons for how it's best cooked — pick by how you like to fire up.
Straight over the coals or grill.
Low heat, 4h+ — brisket, ribs, big roasts.
A quick, hot sear on the stovetop.
Cooked slow in liquid — stews & pot dishes.
Whole pieces on a spit or skewer.
Large roasts, done in the oven.
Pre-marinated — no prep, straight to heat.
